The Sable Hammer Deed of Arms

In August 2025 The Sable Hammer hosted our first event, a harnischfechten deed of arms. This was a one day event where combatants gathered at Garey Park in Georgetown, Texas. At this event participants would challenged one another to duels with a weapon of their choice.

Companymen Odin, Clay, Michael, Raven, Gage, Ian, and Collin attended as well as several non-members.

No scores were kept during this deed, instead a "First among equals" was voted on upon among the participants and awarded a plaque at the end of the event. Ian Madison was chosen as our first among equals for skill, valor, and etiquette in the field that day.
